What is The Mom Parts Method?Â
The Mom Parts Method is a 5 step IFS-informed process developed by Jessica Tomich Sorci, LMFT, PMH-C:
Step 1
Finding Your Mom Parts
Through inward focusing, notice which Mom Parts are present and needing care and attention.
Naming Your Mom Parts
Give your parts a descriptive name and get curious about their role in your system.
Uncovering Truths
Validate and witness what your parts have been carrying.
Moving Closer to the Inescapable Vulnerabilities
Touch into the grief or shame underneath your protective parts.
Identifying Remedies
Access your Inner Mom's resources and offer your parts what they're needing most.
Experience the framework for yourself
This experience offers you a chance to personally encounter the Mom Parts Method and to consider how it may support your work with moms in a non-pathologizing, trauma-sensitive way.
The Mom Parts Method can be integrated across KAP preparation, dosing, and integration.
You will have space to notice your own parts, your own responses, and the ways motherhood-related material may emerge in non-ordinary states of consciousness.
Through this experience, you will begin to develop greater confidence in meeting motherhood-related parts with curiosity, compassion, and attunement.
Ketamine is an invitation, not a requirement
Participants may choose to engage with the experience through:
- Reflection and parts work
- Somatic and embodied practices
- Guided preparation and intention-setting
- An optional ketamine-assisted experience
- Medicine-free participation is always welcome
Participants who choose the KAP pathway must work with their own qualified prescriber for medical evaluation, prescription, dosing guidance, and medical oversight.
This experience is for professionals who support moms:

Â

Â
Helping professionals supporting moms through transition, grief, shame, or emotional overwhelm
Â
Â
You do not need prior training in the Mom Parts Method.
You do not need to be a mother yourself.
We do request that you arrive with a willingness to participate, remain curious, and honor the experience as your own.
What to expect
The experience follows the KAP arc of preparation, dosing, and integration.
Â
Preparation
We’ll begin by introducing the Mom Parts Method and exploring the motherhood-related parts, themes, or questions you are arriving with.
You’ll have time to orient to the experience, set an intention, and consider what support you may need.
Â
Dosing
The experiential portion is designed to feel spacious, supportive, and restorative.
You’ll be invited to prepare a comfortable space where you can settle in without interruption.Â
During the experience, you’ll be accompanied by a carefully selected soundscape created to support ketamine-assisted processing.
You may choose to rest, move, step away, or participate without medication at any time.
The intention is to create enough structure to support the experience while leaving room for each person’s process to unfold in its own way.
Â
Integration
We’ll create space to reflect on what you noticed, what your parts may be communicating, and what feels meaningful to carry forward.
Together, we’ll consider how the experience may deepen your understanding of working with moms across KAP preparation, dosing, and integration.
Â
You will never be required to share, use ketamine, or participate in any practice that does not feel right for you.
Ready to experience the Mom Parts Method + KAP?
We keep the experience intimate, spacious, and relational through a small-group format.
Registration includes the live facilitated experience, preparation information, resources that you can bring into your practice, and an integration space the following day.
The optional KAP pathway requires additional eligibility review and coordination with a prescriber. Â We will assist with connecting you with a prescriber if you indicate needing one on the intake form.
Â
The Mom Parts KAP Collaboration
Meet the two practitioners who bring distinct expertise and a shared commitment to non-pathologizing, trauma-informed care.Â
